In Person Training Courses
Welcome to Ooh Lala Beauty & Training Academy.
Fully accredited nail training courses in Braintree, Essex.
We provide professional nail courses in Essex for both beginners and experienced nail technicians, with a strong focus on confidence, high-quality education and ongoing support.
Our in-person nail training courses are delivered through 1:1 or 2:1 private sessions, with no more than two students at a time. This ensures every student receives personalised guidance, hands-on learning and dedicated support tailored to their individual needs.
Our training courses include Gel Polish, Builder Gel, and E-File, each carefully designed for beginners while also suitable for qualified nail techs looking to refresh or upskill. Techniques are taught step by step, allowing you to learn at a comfortable pace and build confidence from day one.
All students receive lifetime access to our Private Student Support Group, a supportive community for nail technicians where you can ask questions, share wins, follow each other’s journeys and continue learning long after gaining your qualification. You’ll also receive ongoing support, ensuring you never feel unsupported or stuck at any stage of your journey.
Meet The Owner
I’ve been working within the nail and beauty industry for nearly 6 years, spending the last 3.5 years working full-time from my cosy home salon in Braintree, Essex. After recently returning from maternity leave, I decided it was time to take the next step in my career and trained to become an Educator, allowing me to share my knowledge and offer fully accredited training courses.
Before stepping fully into the beauty industry, I found myself in a role where I felt undervalued, unfulfilled and without the work–life balance I wanted. I knew I wanted more control over my time, greater flexibility and a career I genuinely enjoyed. Choosing nails back in 2020 allowed me to build a career on my own terms - one that fits around family life while doing something I truly love.
That experience is a huge part of why I’m so passionate about teaching. My goal is to provide high-quality, comprehensive training while supporting those who want to take their career into their own hands and create something they truly feel passionate about. I believe small class sizes, hands-on experience and ongoing support are key to success in the nail industry.
That’s why my students receive not only a recognised qualification, but also lifetime guidance and support, helping them grow in confidence and build a career they love - with freedom, flexibility and balance at the heart of it all.
